Hello!! This is the first journal I've made in an uber long time. Unfortunately. D: I've been too lazy, or I've just been busy.
But I've been busy with good stuffs! My brother had his Bar Mitzvah last saturday, and had his party that evening. We hosted the part at an italian place called Il Fornaio. VERY good food. It was very fun. Very nice atmosphere and it was great to talk with family.

My mom has been incredibly uptight, but I guess for good reason. My family and I are going to the British Virgin Islands tomorrow. We fly out of San Jose airport at 11:30 PM. FML. I'm the kind of person who needs sleep, and I'm kind of picky about where I sleep, and I can tell that thats not gonna be a good night on the plane. We arrive at Washington DC at around 7 AM, get onto another plane, and that plane takes us to the islands.
To put it simply, I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED. We'll be gone until the 19th! There probably will be internets at the hotels, but I'm not bringing my computer to upload anything. Which is a bummer cause I've been working on a big project that I'm REEALLLY happy about. 8D It'll blow you mind.

But even after our trip I probably wont upload anything for a while. Why? I GETTING A BRAND-NEW SPANKIN HANDY-DANDY COMPUTER YO. FO SHO. A SHINY MACBOOK PRO LAPTOP!1111 : DDDDD
It's gorgeous, and I can't wait. Even though I'm paying half of the price, I so need it. My current computer is a 6 year old ibook that's incredibly slow and is a real pain to work on. I seriously think that my new computer will inspire me to finish some of the many drawings I have in storage.

I've been needing a book for a long while, and especially with two 7 hour plane rides coming up fast, I was in dire need of one. I'm the type of person who needs a good book by the bedside. I'm such a book lover. Anyway, I was looking around Borders and I came upon this huge hunk of paper: [link]
The title deemed interesting to me, so I read inside the cover, and fell in love.
Historical fiction. An assassin during WWll. WHAT CAN BE BETTER?? OMG. And international bestseller at best! I needed it.

I don't really care how long a book is as long as it's good. This tome is around 1000 pages. I'll be moving slowly, but surely.

I'm a couple pages into the intro, and it's lovely. Written very well, even though it has been translated from french. Very excited to start the actual story.
I seriously invite you to read the inside cover of this book if you happen to see it in a book store. If you don't love the description, then this is not your thing, and your missing out big time. :c Sad..

I gotta start packing. -sigh- I gotta build up my on-flight backpack with stimulating things to do.
I'll miss you guys, and I'll miss DA too.
