A theoretical question: If you considered yourself athiest, or some other religion than the rest of your family, and everytime you brought it up they would reply, 'No! You will ALWAYS be ____! It's in your blood!' how would you react?

Have a conversation with them about how important personal independance is.
Argue with them until they get it through thier thick skulls that you can be in whatever religion I want!
Not bring it up again. It's not worth the fight, even though deep down you will stay true to your religion.
....Maybe they're right..

Hah, my parents pretend their Christian, but we've never really fallen in with the flock. I think we're just too lazy. Anyhow, theoretically if this were my case, I'd drop it and not bring it up. Honestly, it's not worth the fight; I'm not going to change their minds and they won't change mine.
